2014 offers more training opportunities!

With funding support from Status of Women Canada, Luke’s Place will continue to provide comprehensive, gender-based three-day trainings in a number of communities across Ontario on family law support and advocacy for violence against women service providers.

We have run successful trainings in six communities in 2012 and 2013, and have four more trainings scheduled for 2014. We will be in Barrie in April 2014 and London in June 2014, and will be announcing our two fall locations as soon as possible.

The training is appropriate for any front line service staff, but is particularly important for staff members who currently or will focus approximately 25% or more of their time in providing family law information and support to abused women.

Training will be delivered by Luke’s Place lead trainer and legal director, Pamela Cross.

Please find more details about our 2014 trainings here, and register early using our 2014 registration form.
