Parent-child-contact-problem (Alienation)
Designed for Ontario family law lawyers and law students. However, the material will also be of interest to service providers who support survivors of intimate partner violence involved in the family court system. For lawyers, the course contains 15 mins Professionalism Hours and is eligible for up to 1 hr 45 min Substantive Hours.
Presented by Pamela Cross and Peter Jaffe, explores why children may not want contact with a parent, the intersection of this allegation with family violence, Canadian case law and strategies for lawyers and the courts.
