Four years later – the Culleton, Kuzyk, Warmerdam (CKW) inquest reflection (Part II)
This month marks four years since the inquest into the murders of Carol Culleton, Anastasia Kuzyk, and Nathalie Warmerdam issued 86 recommendations aimed at addressing systemic gaps in responding to intimate partner violence (IPV).
In Part II of Silence Broken: The IPV Talks, host Bob Perreault continues the conversation with Pamela Cross, formerly of Luke’s Place, and Erin Lee, Executive Director of Lanark County Interval House and Community Support. Building on the discussion in Part I, they reflect on the progress made since the CKW Inquest while exploring the work that remains to strengthen accountability, improve coordination across systems, and ensure the recommendations are fully implemented.
